‘A report published by the House of Commons’ cross-party Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Committee on 10 December has made a number of recommendations to the Government including:
> a ‘lessons learned’ on the ‘impact of the handling of the pandemic on the short- and long-term health of high streets and town centres’, and
> with a specific focus on retail leisure and hospitality, criticising the Government’s fundamental review of business rates as producing neither long term nor fundamental reforms
