Why did you want to enter The Revo’s?

I wanted to enter the Revo Awards this year because I feel I’ve grown significantly in my career over the past few years. I’m proud of the strides I’ve made in demonstrating that you don’t need a large marketing team or budget to make a meaningful impact on the industry and drive footfall.

What makes your entry standout?

I feel like my circumstances are different to a lot of those who are in the category. Such as juggling a large, young family and doing a full time role, department role – part time and as a team of 1. With all the amazing community initiatives we have thrown recently, on a relatively small marketing budget in the grand scheme of shopping centres. I believe that when people see what we’ve achieved with such limited resources, it really highlights the dedication and effort that I and my team put into everything we do.

How do you envision the future of your industry, and how do you hope to contribute to it?

I believe shopping centres will continue to play an important role in our communities, but to thrive, they must evolve. Success in the future will come from not just providing a place to shop, but from giving back to the community, supporting sustainability, and continually striving to improve our impact on both people and the environment. I hope to contribute by leading initiatives that drive positive change, and ensure that our centres are places that genuinely benefit the communities they serve while setting new standards for responsibility and innovation in the industry.

What one word best summarises your entry?

Gung-ho
