Why did you want to enter The Revo’s?

Because The Revo’s celebrate the ideas that make places better and we think our Uniform Exchange definitely ticks that box! The Uniform Exchange started as a small community experiment and quickly became a lifeline for families across Norwich. Entering The Revo’s lets us show that a simple act – swapping a jumper instead of binning it – can save money, cut waste and spread a lot of kindness along the way.

What makes your entry standout?

There’s nothing glossy about hand-me-downs and that’s exactly what makes this project so special. No big budget, no gimmicks, no red tape — just a welcoming pop-up where families can take what they need, judgment-free. It’s circular economy meets community spirit. We’ve saved hundreds of uniforms from landfill, lifted pressure off family budgets and proved that “shopping” can feel good for all the right reasons.

How do you envision the future of your industry, and how do you hope to contribute to it?

We see the future of destinations like ours as less focused on selling things, and more focused on doing things that matter.  We like to think of ourselves as the glue that holds communities together – tackling real challenges and creating feel-good moments in the process. Castle Quarter wants to keep leading by example, turning empty spaces and good ideas into initiatives that help people, protect the planet and remind everyone what “local” really means.
