Why did you want to enter The Revo’s? 

The Revo’s are ‘The Industry’ awards for the retail sector, but for us it was more than that. The Revo’s don’t just award great retail experiences, they also recognise those organisations that are going that step further and genuinely working for the benefit of the wider community.

What makes your entry standout?

Our entry is an authentic partnership between retail and the local authority, that really helps make a behavioural change that will benefit the whole community. Increasing the understanding and participation in recycling is an issue that many local authorities face. Increasing the awareness of the need to recycle correctly can make a change that won’t just improve Maidstone, but will have a much wider sustainable impact.

How do you envision the future of your industry, and how do you hope to contribute to it?

Shopping centres are evolving to be much more than a place to shop – they are fast becoming the heart of the community. The Mall Maidstone, works hard to understand the changing needs of the community. As their needs change, we will continue to evolve to support them by working in partnership with other key community stakeholders, whilst offering a community focussed shopping experience.
