Why did you want to enter The Revo’s?
A strong desire to align ourselves with “best practice” within the industry. In addition, this particular entry was a game-changer for us and proved a concept. It required an incredible undertaking from the whole centre team – which we felt was important to highlight & recognise for them just as much as the centre.
What makes your entry standout?
We believe we changed the landscape of Christmas (activity) in Bournemouth – with our creation and installation of Festive Point. The utilisation and transformation of unused lower ground floor car parking space into FESTIVE POINT was in itself a bold and unique undertaking. The partnering and collaboration with multiple stakeholders, demonstrated the journey we took the local and wider catchment on. The results both in footfall (visitation) and sales reflected the success and numbers of shoppers the campaign brought in. We put an awful lot into this Christmas campaign – and in many ways – were very hopeful it would achieve great success – but it certainly over achieved our expectations which was fantastic.
How do you envision the future of your industry, and how do you hope to contribute to it?
Whatever happens we remain focused on aligning our outputs and service directly with our customer expectations. Embracing technology, being innovative and generating new experiences that sit side by side with the shopping environment.
