Why did you want to enter The Revo’s? 

The Revo’s are an industry wide well respected award ceremony, celebrating the best of the best in terms of various aspects of Property Management. We believe that entering, and potentially winning an award with Revo’s is an accolade for our Shopping Centre.

What makes your entry standout?

At Freshney Place Shopping Centre, we are the central destination in the town of Grimsby. Our Shopping Centre has gone through various revisions and changes in times of past, and is now looking to the future. One thing that has remained throughout is our efforts towards sustainability, and during challenges this has remained a priority, and evolved through the assistance of our teams.

We have continually evidenced this throughout our entry, and with reductions in consumption, waste and continuing other sustainability initiatives to ensure that we both contribute to the reduction of our environmental impact and improve our sustainability offering, as a shopping centre.

How do you envision the future of your industry, and how do you hope to contribute to it?

Shopping Centres have forever been an evolving and changing environment from days gone. I see further developments towards placemaking and more focus towards a community established area, with healthcare and collaboration with local groups. Mixed use schemes, including a mixture of leisure, entertainment and residential are the path forward, with innovations in technology to assist with shoppers where possible, to make it a place to visit and to stay.
