What makes your entry standout?
Wood Green Community Diagnostic Centre was the first of its kind to open in a shopping centre environment, showing true innovation and outstanding partnership working between Capital & Regional and the NHS. This project demonstrates the future of shopping centres, offering essential services where people are and where they want them to be. The extraordinary speed at which the project was delivered is a masterclass in leveraging the different strengths of the public and private sector to achieve a united goal.
How do you envision the future of your industry, and how do you hope to contribute to it?
We believe that shopping centres must support community living. That means centres should be aligned to the needs and aspirations of their local community and form a critical part of its infrastructure. We aim to strengthen communities through meeting their everyday needs and supporting the causes that matter to them.
Working with non-traditional occupier partners such as the NHS and local councils will be essential to the future of the industry, and we are already leading the way in delivering that in our schemes.
