Why did you want to enter The Revo’s?
The Revo awards celebrate excellence and we wanted to pit ourselves against the best in the business. Being shortlisted alone has allowed us to praise and recognise the hard work of all those internally who brought the Uniform Shop to life.
What makes your entry standout?
The simplicity of it. A Uniform Shop is not a new concept but this one was different. There were no swaps, no payments, families could simply come and take what they needed from the pre-loved uniform selection, for free.
How do you envision the future of your industry, and how do you hope to contribute to it?
A key issue shopping centres face is that there is too much vacant retail space and we must consider alternate uses to occupy the space. A community driven offer is the future, whether that’s solicitors, vets, dentists or doctors surgeries; the sense of connection to our communities is key. We will continue to actively engage with local stakeholders to understand what our community needs and what options are available.
