In Memory of Iain Doran, former Chair, Revo Scotland

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our esteemed colleague and friend, Iain Doran, on September 27. Iain was a dedicated member of the Revo community, having served as Chair of Revo Scotland and contributed significantly to the British Council of Shopping Centres (BCSC) for many years.

Iain joined Dundas & Wilson in 1998, where he became Head of Real Estate and led the firm with exceptional expertise for over a decade. His profound knowledge and unwavering commitment to the real estate industry earned him Hall of Fame recognition from Legal500 and Chambers.

Throughout his career, Iain was known for his invaluable advice and mentorship. Many colleagues benefitted from his guidance, and his clients respected him for his insight and professionalism in complex retail and development work, as well as property tax matters. His role as an expert witness in rent review arbitrations further highlighted his esteemed position in the industry.

Even as a Consultant at CMS, Iain remained a vital part of our community, and his legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to work alongside him. He fought a courageous battle with cancer, demonstrating remarkable strength and resilience.

Iain will be deeply missed, not only for his professional contributions but also for his kindness and warmth as a colleague and friend. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
