Revo, the UK’s leading forum for retail-led mixed-use real estate, has today announced two new appointments to its Board as part of its restructured governance, with a newly formed Executive Board, reflecting the dynamic changes underway in the retail and leisure built environment.
Toby Ogilvie Smals, Director of Retail Investments at Savills, and Nick Thornton, founder of Aver PR, have joined the Revo Executive Board as directors, adding complementary experience and perspectives to the existing board, which includes representatives from other prominent organisations, including CACI and British Land.
As Director of Retail Investment at Savills, Toby leads the acquisition and disposal of retail assets on behalf of a diverse client base, including institutions, private equity firms, property companies, and asset managers. With over two decades of sector expertise – having joined Savills as a graduate in 2005 – he brings deep market insight and strategic acumen to the Executive Board.
In his role as founder of Aver, Nick deploys his 30 years’ experience in the property sector to provide a wide range of clients in the build environment with strategic communication advice. With Aver working with some of the industry’s best known owners, asset managers, investors and advisors on some of its best known assets, Nick brings a broad perspective and focus on the commercial value of communication.
