Who We Are.
The forum for retail-led mixed use real estate to meet, collaborate, learn, and champion excellence.
To inspire progressive thinking, champion innovation, and provide strategic insight that empowers the retail-led built environment to evolve, thrive, and positively impact the communities it serves.
2026 Statement
Dynamic Retail, Dynamic Places and Dynamic Thinking
After a decade marked by structural upheaval, pandemic disruption and an extended cost-of-living crisis, retail and leisure real estate enters 2026 with renewed confidence and sense of direction. The emerging message is unambiguous: retail has regained its credibility.
Whilst bifurcation is evident between best-in-class assets and secondary locations, the focus across the board in 2026 is on quality and relevance, in a more creative, experience-led and digitally driven era. The sector is expert at curating retail with leisure, F&B, wellness, culture and community and is now extending its place-making expertise into repurposed residential, social infrastructure and other blended-use schemes enabling urban resilience.
As last year’s Revo’s evidenced, successful destinations aren’t only defined as transactional, but by their ability to attract people’s time, attention and emotional engagement. AI is accelerating the transformation, reshaping how locations are understood, space is used and performance measured to serve owners’ and occupiers’ equal focus on footfall, media value and joint place-making strategies.
Against this backdrop, Revo’s own reset reflects the journey of the sector it represents. Through the toughest years, Revo has remained a constant in our sector, convening thought leadership, championing best practice, and representing the collective interests of its membership. And now, having reenergised our operations with significant board appointments and a new operating model, Revo steps-up again as the representative body of a confident collaborative forward-looking sector defined by our theme for 2026, dynamic retail, dynamic places and dynamic thinking.
After nearly four decades, Revo continues to be a trusted forum connecting its established leaders with its next generation in shaping the future of our sector. No other collaborative network brings the same specialist knowledge and expertise across the retail and leisure property and placemaking community. 2026 will see Revo continue to shape the agenda, supporting members as they navigate change, harness data, embrace experience and support quality, relevant destinations fit for the future.
