Why did you want to enter The Revo’s? 

We entered The Revos to shine a light on the extraordinary work happening every day behind the scenes at Gunwharf Quays. The past year has been one of significant transformation on site, yet the team not only navigated major development works seamlessly – they delivered the strongest trading performance in the centre’s history. The Revos celebrate excellence in our industry, and this year felt like the perfect moment to recognise a team whose collaboration, creativity and commitment have genuinely raised the bar.

What makes your entry standout?

What sets this entry apart is the unity, resilience, and results. Gunwharf Quays brings together five organisations working as one, and 2024/25 demonstrated what that makes possible: record-breaking sales and footfall, exceptional guest satisfaction, and zero disruption for brand partners during significant redevelopment. From pioneering new partnership models to championing community impact, the team didn’t just maintain standards, but redefined them for the industry. It’s a true example of cross-functional excellence at scale.

How do you envision the future of your industry, and how do you hope to contribute to it?

We believe the future of our industry lies in destinations that are dynamic, inclusive and experience-led. Places that blend retail, leisure, community and innovation. We see teams playing a pivotal role in shaping that future through agility, data-driven insight, and genuine collaboration across partners and disciplines.

At Gunwharf Quays, we aim to continue leading by example: trialling smarter ways of working, nurturing local talent, and championing partnerships that benefit guests, brand partners and the wider community.
